Trefoil Lace Stitch Crochet Accessory Scarf

I recently started a new job, I am just relearning to juggle things in my life in a different way.
I’ve been a stay at home mom for so many years, and it’s funny how that phrase, if you don’t use it, you lose it”, feels oh so real right now. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t change my years home with my kids, but I was home with my kids for almost 12 years, and after being out of the work world, it’s a little harder to re-integrate.

It has become a necessity to get back to it, and I’m actually happy to be back in the adult world, aside from the toll it is taking on YarnWars and my pattern creations.

I figure once I am back in the game and get used to the schedule of work/home/school life again, I will figure it all out, I will find a way to take the time for my pattern makes and to continue my true passion as a hooker 😉

(Sorry… had to go there… lol)

Anyhow, I decided yesterday that I wanted to make an accessory for my work wardrobe, so I went on the hunt for the perfect fashion scarf.
I LOVE accessories, so I am just getting started, but the picture presented is another designer’s pattern, one that I absolutely had to try!

Trefoilscarf

Now, aside from the yarn I used, which was Caron Simply Soft, I think it turned out beautifully. She used the Red Heart Unforgettable, which would be THE perfect yarn for this scarf, so I plan to make another with the proper yarn and possibly only 3/4 of the width I worked up.

I am all about trying new stitches, it makes things more interesting I think, and the stitch she uses is called the Trefoil Lace Stitch. The instant I saw her scarf, I had to make one for myself.

So I’m sharing a fun little accessory with you all today, if you are interested in trying one for yourself, it is SUPER simple, it took me very little time to work this up and although I want to make another with those changes, I will certainly be adding this particular gem to my wardrobe =)

Her YouTube tutorial can be found at the following link: Trefoil Lace Stitch Scarf

I, unfortunately was unable to find a written pattern for this scarf, I may have just overlooked it, so if you decide to try this and find a link for a written pattern, please do share!

I hope you are all having a beautiful day.. Michigan is one HOT tamale right now, so I will be doing my best to keep cool and get some much needed house cleaning done today.

Till next time… YARN ON, my friends!
